. About The Puro restaurant in Mechelen, very fancy place to eat&drink, I like the architecture, but also the very good looking art on the wall. I was of course extremely lucky to have that Jaguar E-Type and a palm tree there, where normally a big ugly red garbage can is situated, hey Puro I hate your garbage can !-) The shot This is my very first shot I upload that's made with my brand new Sigma 10mm F2.8 EX DC Fisheye. I'll be posting some more soon, although I don't think you'll have to worry I will be doing too much of fisheye shots, never too much of a good thing. Standard 3 exposures HDR on a tripod using the Sigma 10mm fisheye lens and a remote control, I was really fed up with waiting for the auto release timer, the remote control removes the waiting time and the camera still takes the 3 shots one after the other... Using fisheye is somewhat of an experience at first, there's no zooming on the lens so you'll have to do that yourself walking closer or further away. Pointing it is important as well because the curvature it gives can alter drastically, so getting a good setup takes some time to get used to. It can be funny how quick you end up in the shot with an arm or a foot or your shadow, since the lens has a very wide angle of view (167° on Canon) Photoshop I wanted that incredibly good looking car (Jaguar E-type) in the shot, during the first shot I took a group of people walked through the shot(s), I wanted to make another one, but the car owner appeared and drove off, damn ! So there were a few artifacts of moving people in the shot, not too bad, just vague ghosts, so I used the clone stamp tool on a quite low opacity setting to gently brush them away. For the rest, the usual things you have become used to from me, Curves, Saturation ( lowered on blue ), a bit of dodging and an unsharp mask, and a small crop.
